Who was instrumental in your life in helping you to meet and/or follow Jesus?
About 25 years ago when Kim I first got engaged, we started to attend Centenary as a couple. And that's what we met Pastor Don Nelson. Pastor Don had an exceptionally unique way of making every sermon feel that he was preaching directly to me. It was the first time that anybody had ever explained to me or talk to me or preach to me about Jesus in a way that I could understand. Pastor Don always gave me something to take home in my back pocket - something that I could make mine, something that I could use in my everyday walk. It's when I finally realized that I would never be good enough to go to heaven on my own, I needed Jesus Christ in my life and he would show me the path.
