“He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him.” Luke 10:34 (NIV)
From a kid’s point of view, The Good Samaritan parable shows kindness. In the Bible, it says “love your enemies.” And this parable is a perfect example of that. This incredible story teaches us that even if they are different from us, it is still the right thing to help them. According to the Bible, it says “He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him.” Luke 10:34 NIV
This Samaritan went out of his way to help the robbed and beat up man. Some might say, it's just a story and it wasn’t real. But it’s an example of something real that can happen. The Good Samaritan proves that it is possible to love your enemy and neighbor. As you can see the Samaritan spent his own money, let him use his donkey, and bandages. Have you ever had the opportunity to help a neighbor? Or assist your enemy?

Favorite Christmas Carol
"Hark the Herald Angels Sing."
It's joyful, low enough in range for me, full of energy, and has awesome lyrics!
"Hark! the herald angels sing
Glory to the newborn King
Peace on earth, and mercy mild
God and sinners reconciled
Joyful, all ye nations, rise
Join the triumph of the skies
With angelic host proclaim
Christ is born in Bethlehem
Hark, the herald angels sing
Glory to the newborn King"
