We have enjoyed some beautiful, mild weather in the month of June, but it is summer
and we know the heat is coming. We plan to enjoy some outdoor fun, including water
play, bike riding, picnics and walks as much as possible. Please remember, we have the
air conditioned gym to retreat to when it is too hot. Also, we will be sure your child gets
plenty of water to stay hydrated.
In Chapel, the children learned about how God created the wonderful world we live in
as they learned about each exciting "Creation Day." What an awesome God He is!
We were pleased to honor our dads and grandpas for "Father's Day." We hope you
liked the pictures and stories the children created for you. It is evident that dads and
grandpas play very important roles in the lives of these precious children. We are sure
you enjoyed the gifts they made for you with their own loving hands. We hope all of you
had a wonderful Father's Day.
The children had a great time learning about God's roaring ocean the last two weeks of
June. They learned that there are many plants and animals that live in the ocean. The
children made lobsters, crabs, octopuses, starfish, sharks, whales and all kinds of
different sea life for wonderful ocean bulletin boards.

The children had a fantastic time in the water on "Beach Day," June 23rd. They enjoyed
running through a sprinkler, squirting each other with spray bottles, playing at the water
table and splashing in the shallow wading pools. Thank you for applying sunscreen on
your children before they came to preschool. It helped the teachers and gave the children
more time to play in the water!
We know it's summer and everyone wants to take time off for fun whenever they can.
Please remember to call us by 9:00 a.m. if your child will not be coming to shcool for the
day so we can staff accordingly. For those who have children moving to kindergarten,
please let me know as soon as possible when his/her last day will be. Also, please be
sure that you sign your full first and last name when signing your child in and out of
school each day. Thank you so much for your cooperation.
We are looking forward to a fun-filled July. Our themes for July will be "Our Free
Land" and Circus Fun." We wish everyone a safe and happy July 4th.
